The Foundation acknowledges and accepts it has a statutory obligation and responsibility for the wellbeing and safety of all adults at risk, children and young people who participate in the Foundation’s activities or utilise the Foundation’s facilities.

Where concerns about the welfare of a child or adult at risk exists, staff will always act in the best interests of the child or adult at risk.

It is the duty of all staff working at the Foundation to ensure they safeguard children and adults at risk by creating an environment that protects them from harm.

We have comprehensive polices which are updated annually and which are supported with regular safeguarding training for all staff and volunteers and we strive towards always demonstrating good practice.

We will respond to all concerns and ensure they are investigated, recorded and reviewed to continually improve our standards.
